May 26, 2022. Had the pleasure of making the acquaintance of Kathy, the owner (Book Dean) of Brain Lair Books in South Bend, IN. It is an indie bookstore focusing on children's and young adult literature. In particular, she carefully selects that written by and for the "underrepresented voices." It is a "bookstore dedicated to developing empathy and building a community centered around the discussion of inclusive books, and fun." It is a cozy place with a welcoming feel. I am pleased that Kathy now has "The Dark Narcs" in her store.
